Visitor bookings are being taken for 2021!
We are currently closed because of the Coronavirus pandemic. We will remain closed to visitors until March 2021. We are taking bookings for the 2021 Season subject to the caveat that they depend on the Coronovirus situation at that time; if you fancy a stay in our Static Caravan you should book now!
For your future information....we normally welcome visitors, by prior appointment, between 1st March and 31st October.
For those who have not tried naturism before we suggest a day visit. You will be encouraged to disrobe but you will not have to do so immediately you walk through the gate! We want you to feel relaxed so you can decide when the moment is right. You will almost certainly see others who are naked; we are sensible people and we wear clothes in cold or wet weather, but we nearly always disrobe in our warm, centrally heated, club house!
As well as day visits, we offer all visitors longer visits in their own tent, caravan or motor home, or a holiday break in our club static. Bookings are taken all year round but for various reasons we can only receive visitors between the dates above.
*** All visits must be pre-booked at least 48 hours in advance ***
Remember to bring:
(1) Photo I.D. for each adult visitor. (2) At least one towel each person! (Naturist etiquette is that we do not sit on anything with our bare bottoms. Two towels can be a good idea - one to dry with, the other to sit on). (3) Refreshments - we have a kitchen but not a cafe! Our bar is usually open from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime; other times are by arrangement.
Day visits are £ 7.50 per adult per day.
If stopping overnight in your own tent, touring caravan or motorhome, the charge is £7.50 per adult per night, plus £10 per night site fee. If you want an electrical hook up and one is available there is a further £4 service charge per night.
To hire our Static Caravan is £20 per night plus £7.50 per adult per night. It has a double bedroom, a bedroom with twin beds, and can also sleep 2 on the settee in the lounge, i.e. max 6 persons. We supply Duvet and Pillows and suggest you bring your own bed linen; alternatively rent our linen at a charge of £10 per week. The Static has mains electricity and water, shower and toilet facilities, oven, fridge and microwave, and LPG Gas supplying water heater, cooker and gas fire. Minimum rental period of two consecutive nights.
For all visits, children (those under age 18) are welcome free of charge but can only be admitted when accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Our practice here at YSS is to comply with all Data Protection requirements. We therefore take positive steps to make sure visitors and members remain anonymous. So, if you want to try naturism without anyone else knowing, YSS is a great place to start: no one else will find out unless YOU tell them! (The persons you can identify in our publicity material, including this website, all specifically volunteered to take part; we didn't want to use professional models because we wanted to show you we are just ordinary people doing ordinary things - without clothes.)
Please make an appointment
We are not a commercial club and there are no employees. It is essential visitors contact us before coming so we can make sure there will be someone from our visitor team on site to let them in. Failure to do this will mean a long wait and frustration; it is club policy not to admit casual callers at the gate.
To further help all visitors we have prepared these additional notes which we ask you to read before contacting us.
Dogs, Cats, in fact any pets, are welcome so long as they are well behaved and in the care of considerate owners; follow the green link in the paragraph above for more information.
